For the past month now, I’ve been running a mini group workout session with a few classmates.

One of the girls came to one, never came back. In her defense she’s in rehab. Shoulder/neck issues– not substance abuse rehab.

Another girl has been there for every session. She’s shaved time off her workout and inches. Happy times!

The workout is based on bodyweight exercises. The difficulty of the workout and what you get out of it depends on the intensity with which you approach it (I.e., what you put in).

The workout:
1000+ Rep Challenge

100 Jump rope
25 Burpees
100 Jump Rope
25 Close Grip Push Ups
100 Jump Rope
50 Squats
100 Jump Rope
50/ side Mountain Climbers
100 Jump Rope
50/ side Walking Lunges
100 Jump Rope
50 Toe Crunches
( on back legs up ( 90 at hip ), heels parallel to ceiling, crunch up ‘finger tips to toes )
100 Jump Rope
50 = 25/ Side Renegade Row
(extended plank row )
100 Jump Rope
25 Push Ups
100 Jump Rope
50/ side Bicycle Crunch
100 Jump Rope
25 Burpees
100 Jump rope
50 = 25/ side Plank Butt Kick ( in long arm plank, hands under
shoulders, core tight and alternate bringing heels to butt )
100 Jump Rope

Time yourself and try to beat your time every following time you run through it. It’s a quick but effective workout– exactly what we need as exam stress starts to build.

Enjoy! Xo
