“The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly.”
– Jim Rohn

Are you a leader or a tyrant?

Venture Alone (you might have to).

“If you’re going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don’t even start. This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind… It could mean derision. It could mean mockery–isolation. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you’ll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you’re going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It’s the only good fight there is.”

— Charles Bukowski

“Meditation brings wisdom;
lack of mediation leaves ignorance.
Know well what leads you forward
and what holds you back, and
choose the path that leads to wisdom

“You do not wake up one morning a bad person. It happens by a thousand tiny surrenders of self-respect to self-interest.” – Robert Brault

Fight!

Every surrender counts.

Revenge is a Waste.

After an incident, a friend tried to console another with the words, “success is the best revenge,” but consoled, she was not.

Why taint your success with negativity? Especially negative, vindictive things like revenge.

My success is for me. Whoever has “done me wrong“, gets no part of it. No part of me.

They get pity, prayer and eventually, indifference.

Revenge is a waste of time. A petty man’s pursuit.

My priorities are different; my goals are a little bigger, revenge isn’t one of them.
